Australian gas innovators will be eligible to enter the Australian Gas Innovation Awards, with the winners recognised at an awards dinner held at AGT.

The Innovation Awards recognise innovation excellence within the Australian gas industry. The awards aim to raise awareness of innovation in the gas industry as a driver of economic and technological change; and to maximise the commercialisation of ideas by building links between industry and research organisations.

Wednesday 1st May 2013, 5.30pm AEST - Deadline for entries
Thursday 16th May 2013 - Finalists notified
Thursday 30th May 2013 - Finalists presentation due
Finalists and Winners will be recognised during the Australian Gas Technology Official Dinner on Tuesday 2nd July 2013

Eligibility Criteria
There will be two categories of awards: Commercial (Industry) and Pre-Commercial (Research Organisation)Commercial Category
The innovation must be developed by an Australian Company.
The innovation must be developed in Australia.

Pre-Commercial Category
The applicant must be undertaking recognised research in a relevant research organisation. Individual researchers and/or research groups may apply.
Research higher degree candidates must acknowledge supervisory arrangements, and research groups must identify key supporting research infrastructure and collaborations in their application. The award may be made to an individual or a research group at the discretion of the judges.
